[OpenIndiana-discuss] Hipster 2015 x264 issue

Hi,

I upgraded to to Hipster 2015 repository last night and it was a 
straight forward upgrade.

However, this afternoon when I attempted to run VLC or SMplayer they 
both complain that the x264 codec is missing.

I tried to run /usr/bin/ffmpeg -v  but it displayed the following error

Examing the /usr/bin/pentium_pro+mmx directory there were no symbollic 
links to the /usr/lib/*x264* libraries

Examing the /usr/lib/pentium_pro+mmx directory with ls -l *x264* does 
not find any file or directory.
