Wait a moment! The problem is indeed related to the FAT32 implementation (so sad noone took over the task to improve the code but then Solaris drivers are unnecessary complicated) but who said there is an NTFS driver? You have to use fuse to mount NTFS formated disks and I have no idea how to ebable automount with such a setup.
