[OpenIndiana-discuss] Installing GO in OI

Joyent got a prebuild go packages (x86_64):

http://pkgsrc.joyent.com/packages/SmartOS/2015Q3/x86_64/lang/go14-1.4.3.tgz

It can be installed by using pkgin. You can bootstrap pkgsrc/pkgin
following this guide:

http://pkgsrc.joyent.com/install-on-illumos/
