I checked this torrent

they have md5sum on site beside .torrent that describe .ISO file, that is
e9a748169a4d1898ba140c636b72ea59 
/export/home/share/ISO/OI/OI-hipster-gui-20160421.iso

and it gets the same content as dlc.openindiana.org ISO does:
  sha256sum -c OI-hipster-gui-20160421.iso.sha256sum
  OI-hipster-gui-20160421.iso: OK

And MD5 sum describes same ISO as dlc's sha256sum:

So .torrent file can be used for seeding OI-hipster-gui-20160421.iso , 
as long as you are sure you always check sha256sum from 
dlc.openindiana.org site, after download.
I seed it with transmission, after downloading over http, adding torrent 
and pointing to and checking it's sha256sum before and after  .torrent 
check.

One problem with this torrent is that it is not "public torrent", since 
it says:
"Private to this tracker - DHT and PEX disabled", so I don't know if 
downloading by only using Torrent HASH will work since DHT is turned off 
at tracker.
