Yes, as I'm trying to clean up the gcc4.4 build, I don't see why we need to have separate builds of gmp and mpfr. I'll send you the changeset(s) for review once I've got it to build cleanly.

oi-build/components/gcc44-mpft actually builds and publishes mpfr, probably a typo in the component's name?
