I'd say any documentation regarding tools shipped with illumos-userland should be on the Illumos wiki.

For OpenIndiana we'll probably have distro-specific instructions on our wiki but aim to avoid duplicating content and instead refer to the Illumos-userland documentation on the Illumos wiki for how to build with it.
