Looks like it is don't bother. 3.5.21 was also the same trainwreck 3.5.7 
was with a build of lots of smbd processes dropping out and becoming 
owned by init and severe connection issues.

3.6.12 has however proven to be stable. Upgrading from 3.5.x to 3.6.x is 
an adventure for certain existing setups like winbind with a ldap backend.
