I've just recompiled Evolution (moved to userland). Using it to compose
this message :) I'm going to ask for review a bit later.

I don't know if anyone is working on Thunderbird. It was in my "TODO"
list, but not on the first place. Now my list looks like:
a) update bdb
b) move some libraries from JDS to userland (just move, not update)
c) look at updating client software with small list of dependent
packages  in JDS: pidgin, Thunderbird, Firefox

There are a lot of custom patches for FF 10 in JDS. They should be
examined - if they are still necessary. And looking at Gabriele's and
Jonathan's comments in illumos-discuss, there could be dragons.
