I have to admit, parts of this are a bit confusing to me. While there are
some things coming into illumos, there is more going out. It's looking vary
much like OpenSSL is going to be gone (from what I can tell, it's just a
matter of making sure nothing depends on it, which is being worked on now),
WU-ftpd is looking like it's going to be removed, SUN DHCPd is looking to
be going too. Cardbus was just dropped, which is part of removing legacy
PM.

I definitely understand the lack of stable OI releases (or any apparent
desire to make a stable release from hipster) being frustrating.
