Here I'm forwarding my response to Alexander's KMS question from earlier
this morning.
I may share the code over the weekend or next week after I first
emergency-job 3 days at a pizza delivery service.

ALTHOUGH: Meanwhile after all the things described in the just written:
http://openindiana.org/pipermail/openindiana-discuss/2015-November/018250.html

actually I regret myself for doing so.

Can anybody of those Germans here in the US colony of so called "Federal
Republic of Germany" or any of those US-Muricans tell me a single
reason, why I should be doing so? It does not even need to be a good reason.

ANY reason !
Anyone?

Given the complete lack of "donations" (with the single positive
exception of a brother, Nikola) it gets delayed by that very fact. So:
Not my fault.
I say it again: I regret, I ever got intouch with Solaris in 1999, at
Technical University of Berlin.
It stole my life :(
For nothing.

Hello,

*yes*, as written many times, on-list, off-list, on fb, twitter and the
old Blog) now deleted).
I make the public release (which works) next week.

Since 2013 I had it working with the very lates xf86-intel ddx (2.99 or
what it was) until the point where X11 comes up on the xf86 intel ddx
(but before Oracle released the diffs it ended at this point where the
X11 root window is up, but stayed in an endless polling loop.
Therefore I only released the limited version which only supports a very
early KMS (with the OpenBSD ddx).

Now however I have the whole stack working.
Give me over the weekend to clean it up.

I also must work at a pizza service, because the only donation came from
somebody who has no money himself: Nikola sent 20 EUR :)
All the other "community" members aka money making capitalists from EU
and USA: No single Kopeke.

I will explain you in the ANNOUNCE file which problems you are currently
dealing with ;)

p.s. I CC'ed this to Nikola, but will also thank him on-list after first
preparing my old DRM/KMS src tree for clearance ...

best rgds.,
