I compared the Xorg log:
in the working log the mouse driver is loaded on PS/s mouse on /dev/mouse:

in both cases is the the touchpad avail and a extern USB mouse connected. the /dev/mouse dev link is in both BE targeted to /devices/pseudo/cons at 0:mouse
