In principle, it's ok to cutoff the supported OI versions at some
point, but I today I found that this cutoff is made far too early:
Cannot install driver mlxcx:
pkg install: No matching version of driver/network/mlxcx can be installed:
Reject: pkg://openindiana.org/driver/network/mlxcx@0.5.11-2024.0.0.22411
to
pkg://openindiana.org/driver/network/mlxcx@0.5.11-2024.0.0.22432
Reason: This version is excluded by installed incorporation
consolidation/osnet/osnet-incorporation at 0.5.11-2024.0.0.22256
And that's on a system that's not even 4 month behind head.
At least, the supported versions should be kept reaching back
to the last ISO release, that would be about 6-7 month.
