Actually, uname would report the same kernel/OS as the global zone.
But doing 'pkg list' would clearly show the packages from before the
upgrade.

Is *that* okay?

Of course, eventually the plan is to just upgrade them as well....
either with zoneadm attach -u or pkg updates.
