>From my opinion, it is more stable to have separate drive / partition, one for OpenSolaris 2009.06, and another for OpenIndiana
 
Upgrading OpenSolaris 2008.05 with new package from 2009.06 result in slower machine response, so from this experience, it is easier for me just to destroy either ZFS pool in case the final decision is already made between those two choice
