Hi Tim,

amp-dev is failing because it depends on postgresql which was removed by 
Oracle.  This is being worked on and should be fixed in the next release.

jdk should work fine.  I expect you came up against our issues getting a 
proper os.o/dev mirror working properly - this should be up now so 
please check jdk again and report back.
