[OpenIndiana-discuss] OpenIndiana and application keychain access

Hi All,

More of an OpenSolaris query originally, as I've always had this problem, but still have it on oi_147 x86. In certain applications such as Pidgin and the bundled vncserver,. I have saved my password (for various chat accounts in the former, and for password authentication for client connections for the latter).

However, these are apparently not unlocked by the login keychain, consequently on every desktop login to the system I am prompted to supply a password to unlock the keychain on launching these particular applications.

Does anyone know how to "shut this up" so to speak, while still being able to have saved credentials in Pidgin etc.?
