Yes, works for me:

bash-4.0$ uname -v
oi_148
bash-4.0$ svccfg -s system-log listprop config/log_from_remote
config/log_from_remote  boolean  false

Try to re-import the manifest (/lib/svc/manifest/system/system-log.xml)
