Seems wierd to me. Can you try to play around with uadmin to see if you can reproduce it with that? See http://sysunconfig.net/unixtips/uadmin.txt or google for options.
Please note that uadmin is not recommended as a reboot/init 6 replacement - it's a last resort thing. But then, it may help sort out what your current problem is.

I all pedagogikk er det essensielt at pensum presenteres intelligibelt. Det er et elementært imperativ for alle pedagoger å unngå eksessiv anvendelse av idiomer med fremmed opprinnelse. I de fleste tilfeller eksisterer adekvate og relevante synonymer på norsk.
