[OpenIndiana-discuss] Dual boot with Linux

Hi,
Lately I want to install OI-151a on my machine which already has the Ubuntu
installed.
The partition is as follows:
/dev/sda1 --> /
/dev/sda5 --> /home
/dev/sda6 --> swap
/dev/sda7 --> not used

I feared my careless try would destroy the partition table (I have lots of
data in home dir) because of the different file system used by OI.
So here I want to ask can I install OI-151a on the *extended* partition sda7
and make a dual boot machine?
