[OpenIndiana-discuss] Spontaneous server reboots

In case someone else has stability issues with OI using an LSI 9240-4i controller with the imr_sas drivers (version 3.03) in the future. I have traced my stability issues to the controller. Reflashing the controller to IT mode (following instructions at http://www.servethehome.com/ibm-serveraid-m1015-part-4/) which then uses the builtin mpt_sas drivers seems to have cured the spontaneous server reboots.

Any suggestions on how to get more diagnostic information would be appreciated?

The main disk pool uses an LSI MegaRAID SAS 9240-4i controller and consists of twelve (12) 3TB Constellation ES.2 drives in a RAID Z3 configuration and using a DDRDrive for the zlog. The system/root pool is two Intel 160GB SSD disks in a mirror configuration.
