Hi,

I'm sorry, I was thinking of the (newly) introduced KVM -- I'm not
really planning on using the OI as a regular desktop, but as a server. I
agree that with Virtualbox, a better option would be ESXi, I guess,
because the OI set-up is not simpler.

Is KVM stable/usable for my scenario?

Well, the LSI card is well supported everywhere, afaik, so it should not
be a problem (I bought it for use in solaris).

I'm not trying to start an argument -- I really am new to this
(virtualization+storage on the same server), so I'm exploring my options. :)

Mats
