Hi Achim,

we have good results with Supermicro hardware. Usually you will find Intel NICs on the mainboards and LSI based disk controllers.

There are several shops that ship them as "Build To Order" systems. So, if you find a working mainboard it should usually be easy to order a box that fits your needs.

We have a quite competent supplier her in Germany we get our Supermicro stuff from.
