[OpenIndiana-discuss] Illumos does not boot on Intel core 5i desktops

I think it's the probably motherboard chipset, not the CPU. I've
successfully installed OI on an i3, i5 and i7. However, I wasn't ever able
to get anything to get booted up on five different Z68 based boards. I got
to loading ISA drivers and then failed. Swapping the motherboards out for
P67 based ones but keeping all other parts, no problem. Googling around I
found that it looks like the chipset was too new for OI, and that support
would be implemented eventually.
