[OpenIndiana-discuss] FC LUN to ESXi 5.1 Not Recognized After Migration

Hello,

I recently migrated two COMSTAR LUs with zvol backs across pools on the
same OI host with 'zfs send -R snap | zfs recv -d pool'. On the new pool,
I re-created the SBD LUs with the appropriate zvols and added views with
the pre-existing host groups and target group. ESXi sees both FC devices
and recognizes them as containing VMFS5 filesystems, but the datastores are
nowhere to be found. Digging into the syslog on the ESXi host, the
following lines are repeated each time ESXi rescans its storage adapters
for new devices or filesystems:

The SBD LUs were not created with a snapshot, so I'm not sure what to make
of the 3rd and 6th lines. I did notice the LUN ID varies from the returned
query and expected or on-disk ID in lines 4-5 and 7-8. I tried using views
LUN 4 and 5 as well as 0 and 1 reflect the on-disk/queried ID, but the
issue persists. Both the OI and ESXi hosts have been rebooted as well.

Hopefully someone has some advice for me to get these mounted properly!

Thanks,

Cooper
