[OpenIndiana-discuss] Problems using zones on hipster

Hi all,

I've been playing around with zones on the latest hipster and I noticed a problem I'm having.

I'm trying to set up an exclusive IP zone to build oi-userland in.
I create a vnic, set the zone path, set ip-type to exclusive and verify and commit. All seems in order.

First boot, configuration works fine. Reboot after sysconfig and when I boot the zone, the zlogin console reads the following lines:

[NOTICE: Zone booting up]

SunOS Release 5.11 Version illumos-065c692 64-bit

Hostname: oi-userland
Dec 8 17:23:31 svc.startd[2161]: svc:/system/auditset:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/svc-auditset" failed with exit status 1.
Dec 8 17:23:31 svc.startd[2161]: svc:/system/auditset:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/svc-auditset" failed with exit status 1.
Dec 8 17:23:31 svc.startd[2161]: svc:/system/auditset:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/svc-auditset" failed with exit status 1.
Dec 8 17:23:31 svc.startd[2161]: system/auditset:default failed: transitioned to maintenance (see 'svcs -xv' for details

Gathering some info with svcs -xv:
root at oi-userland:~# svcs -xv
svc:/system/auditset:default (Set non-/attributable audit flags
				in the kernel context.)
State: maintenance since Sun Dec 8 17:23:31 2013
Reason: Start method failed repeatedly, last exited with status 1.
   See: http://illumos.org/msg/SMF-8000-KS
   See: /var/svc/log/system-auditset:default.log
Impact: This service is not running

When I go to check out the log file, it contains numerous repetitions of the following lines:

[ Dec 8 17:23:31 Executing start method ("/lib/svc/method/svc-auditset"). ]
Could not update kernel context (A_SETAMASK).
[ Dec 8 17:23:31 Method "start" exited with status 1. ]

On a side note, I also have trouble creating a new unprivileged user, failing the creation of the home zfs dataset with "operation not applicable". Works fine if I point it to a directory outside of /home.

zfs list shows:

user at oi-userland:/export/user$ zfs list
NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT
Hammer 413G 1.38T 7.05G /Hammer
Hammer/zones 1.65G 1.38T 33K /Hammer/zones
Hammer/zones/oi_userland 1.65G 1.38T 33K /Hammer/zones/oi_userland
Hammer/zones/oi_userland/ROOT 1.65G 1.38T 31K legacy
Hammer/zones/oi_userland/ROOT/zbe 35K 1.38T 965M legacy
Hammer/zones/oi_userland/ROOT/zbe-1 1.65G 1.38T 1.40G legacy
user at oi-userland:/export/user$

What should I do to make the service messages go away?

What should I do to have a working /export/home ZFS dataset?

Thank you,
   Bryan
