I'd seen that in other Solaris docs, but since my file didn't look anything like that, I figured that was yet another thing that had changed...

For the most part, I agree with you about this, but sometimes it's nice to just get things done, even if it's not the prettiest way to do it.

I've spent just shy of four months -- not full time, but most of my productive time -- working on this project to migrate three servers from Linux to OI.  I could have built each server in Linux in 6 - 10 hours, probably, and had this done long ago.  I wouldn't have been happy with it, but it would have been done.

I've come to like OpenIndiana, though, and I think it will do a much better job for us than Linux.  It certainly offers more flexibility.

Plus, having spent so much time on this list, I've come to know and like most of you on this list.  So, I would have missed out on that, too.
