[OpenIndiana-discuss] pkg only installing command-line tools

I've been using:
pkg install -v {package}
  to install command-line tools, but it refuses to install Gnome. 
Whenever I try:
pkg install -v {gnome,gnome-incorporation,etc}
it spins for a few moments "Creating plan", then comes back:
"No updates necessary for this image."

But this system doesn't have any of Gnome installed, nor does pkg 
install actually install anything.

Between the 151a8 LiveCD not keeping the static network configurations 
(nor any of my desktop settings, I discovered), and now this, I'm about 
ready to ask if someone will send me a 151a7 LiveCD. 151a8 is definitely 
borked.
