Well, I found the part about triple booting organized
as I thought it should be !!! Thanks for making this
available.
A few typos :
section 3, 1st paragraph "you user data" -> "your user data"
section 3, 3rd paragraph "ship the computer" -> "ship computers"
section 5, 1st paragraph "OpenIndiana installer" -> "OpenIndiana bootloader"
section 5, 2nd paragraph "its bootloader" -> "the bootloader"
section 6, 1st paragraph "its bootloader" -> "the bootloader"
Also add a paragraph to section 2 :
It is wise to save an image of Windows at this stage, as the
image saved at step 1 would be difficult to restore to a
shrunken partition.
The last paragraph of section 6 should have a section title
("Installing in a different order"). An item list may help
to clarify the needed steps :
If you later want to reinstall Windows or Linux, and you do
not want to reinstall all the systems, you have to stick to
your partition layout, and :
- reinstall Windows or Linux as needed,
- get the MBR installed by OpenIndiana from your backup
- put this MBR into place (using Linux or a live-CD/DVD/USB)
- start OpenIndiana and update its menu.lst as indicated in
section 6
(I am to do a few experiments about items still uncertain).
