A: I found a web page on
http://terfmop.co.uk/blog/2013/07/31/hp-proliant-n54l-bios-modification-guide-allow-hot-plug-sata-and-5th-sata-port/
describing a procedure for creating a BIOS restore USB stick and a BIOS
modification USB stick.
So I wonder: will the N54L run XP or W7 Home well enough to produce
these USB sticks?

B: That mod, making the N54L SATA hot-swap and getting the 5th SATA port
to SATA III (??), is it safe, does it work, yada yada....

C: Anyone using the Remote Access (IPMI) card?? Is it worth the about
80-85€ it costs in Sweden? Will that IPMI card work with the modded BIOS?
