[OpenIndiana-discuss] Real performance hit raidz2 5 disks vs 6?

I'm thinking of setting up a 5 x 4TB disk raidz2.
Supposedly this is far from optimal, at least for write performance, but I
cannot find any numbers or even hand waving discussion of how much worse
the 5disk z2 will be.
I will use it for media files over cifs and/or dlna, almost exclusively.
Thus it'll be almost consistently write once/read many, and most files will
be large.
I will put files of the appropriate types on there, so transcoding can be
avoided almost completely. A separate machine will handle the few cases of
transcoding that can't be avoided.
The machine is an N54L with 16GB of ECC memory.
It will run either napp-it on oi or freenas.
