The “archive” zone, which is our email archives for the past 17 years, would be the only thing that might come anywhere close to 11G.
I save some of my current email files there, just so I don’t have a set of folders on our Dovecot system, and another on the email archives, which uses UW-Imap.
All the zones, including the archive zone, make backups of the data, and save them to a backup server, each night.
Each zone has two copies of data, such as:
EmailArchive01.tgz
EmailArchive02.tgz
The "EmailArchive02.tgz" file gets deleted. "EmailArchive01.tgz" gets renamed "EmailArchive02.tgz". Then the existing data gets named "EmailArchive01.tgz".
Also, if I was to delete that "OpenIndiana-151a7-2014-0705A” boot environment, would that free up 10G of space?
