[OpenIndiana-discuss] console local and via SOL

Hi,
I guess you should try to connect to local console even it it is redirected to serial (I guess if you enable VT, you SHOULD be able
to use it).
Also check:
a) http://wiki.openindiana.org/oi/4.6+Remote+Console
b) if VT is/are enabled (on my OI box):
$ svcs -a | grep vt
online Jan_12 svc:/system/vtdaemon:default
online Jan_12 svc:/system/console-login:vt3
online Jan_12 svc:/system/console-login:vt5
online Jan_12 svc:/system/console-login:vt6
online Jan_12 svc:/system/console-login:vt4
online Jan_12 svc:/system/console-login:vt2
