[OpenIndiana-discuss] Enabling IPv6

Hi,

I created a /etc/hostname6.<interface> and obtained a Link Local and 
Global Unicast address  but I now want to create a static IPv6 address. 
I looked at the documentation online which was using the ipadm command 
but I kept getting a message that I was working on a temporary interface.

What is the best procedure for manually configuring a Static IPv6 address?
