Okay, booting into the development boot menu option and not openindiana-1
allowed me to get in to the system. I then ran update manager and did an
update. It created openindiana-2 which is now booting up like normal.

What an experience. :-)

I need some more major X help. Can someone email me privately? Or
recommend a place to get that help?

Best regards,
Rick C. Hodgin
