[OpenIndiana-discuss] New box/new motherboard suggestions

Thank you for the comments everyone. They are appreciated.

Sounds like the C612 socket is where I want/need to be.

The embedded audio is important. I'm not doing anything high end audio wise, so
I would rather have basic, embedded audio, vs wasting an expansion slot.

The frame buffer, OTOH, I don't really care about. Plans are to just stick what
ever current, mid range NVIDIA frame buffer is currently available, and attach
flat screen(s) to it.

Thanks again for everyone's comments so far. I spend 99% of my time tending to
what ever is going on in the SPARC world, and I'm just not up to speed in the
x86/x64 world.

That said, it seems like this is the C612 socket board with embedded sound.

I will probably run with this, unless someone else has additional suggestions.
