[OpenIndiana-discuss] UBS NIC?

Hello,
My computer's motherboard was faulty so I had to buya new one. I was not careful enough and I bought onethat includes a NIC that is not supoported (it hasa Qualcomm Atheros killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet 
Controller). A friend of mine suggested to use a 
USB to Ethernet device. The problem is that I haveno idea if they are supported in general, The OI webpage lists one such device as functional. But  is thisa reasonable solution?
