You should actually update your Openindiana installation and then if you
think it is needed, you can make a bug report (if any) on
 https://www.illumos.org/projects/openindiana/issues .
All that does not include sending screenshots of VMware on mailing
list.. :) 

..also without any clue of what you are mounting and from where.
Any kernel will go crazy if underline storage for an OS starts
misbihaving etc.
