In this case seems like Rotten in the kingdom of MSoft.  :)
I also saw some similar reports yesterday about Microsoft and also other
online certificates, and not with OI.

I would expect that such certificate checks might become more rigorous
over time across other software, (and they are useful),  as importance
of protecting privacy and importance of protecting businesses online rise.
