[OpenIndiana-discuss] How to rescan for re-inserted NVMe devices?

Hi all, 


I am trying to remove/insert NVMe devices using nvmeadm, where nvmeadm detach nvmeX/Y works, but upon removing the actual SSDs, the PCI devices get retired and also removed. After re-inserting a different SSD, it seems, that the PCI devices need to be scanned again somehow… 


What is the command to have the kernel scan and detect new PCI devices?
