Indeed this was the problem. In what follows I have put together all the commands
that I have used to completely remove LO52 and LO4:

pkg uninstall desktop/application/libreoffice52-desktop-int
pkg uninstall libreoffice52
pkg uninstall libreoffice4
pkg unset-publisher localhostoih
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/liborcus-011 at 0.11.2-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/liborcus at 0.7.1-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libvisio at 0.1.5-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libcdr at 0.1.3-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libmspub at 0.1.2-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libodfgen at 0.1.6-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libwpg at 0.3.1-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libwpd at 0.10.1-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libwps at 0.4.3-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/librevenge at 0.0.3-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libixion at 0.9.1-0.0.151.1.8
pkg uninstall sfe/library/g++/libixion-011 at 0.11.1-0.2017.0.0.5
pkg uninstall pkg://localhostoih/system/library/g++/boost@1.59.0
pkg install -v desktop/office/libreoffice
