[OpenIndiana-discuss] RAIDZ2 root pool install fun :-(

The text-install on the NL40 went quite well. I repartitioned the disks, created a new RAIDZ2 pool, installed into an existing pool and then created dump and swap.

I'm currently installing S11.4, but I don't think it will let me have a RAIDZ2 root pool. I created one, but I think it is getting stomped on. That's an argument for using my s0 & s1 arrangement.

We'll see. New systems usually take me several days to work out how to get what I want.

 Hi Reg

Try Raidz1, Raidz2 as root had some problems when I tried last. Although
that was 1-2 years ago. So it might work now. But I have not yet seen
any installation with RAIDZ2 as root it's quite rare.
