We can roll illumos into the foundation; we can keep the books ourselves,
just have to pay a cpa to sign off on it if that is desired. I would do the
tax preparation myself unless a large amount of money was involved. I would
only do this if the finances were completely transparent and everything was
posted on the Internet. The main point here should be to use donations
strictly for development and not sucking administrative cost which is quite
common in the nonprofit world.
