If no one else has claimed them in 7 days (so that more deserving souls who actually _git commit_ to OI rather than benefit from other people’s work as end users all get a chance first), I’ll take a couple :)
For the full nostalgic OpenSolaris experience they’ll pair well with my Sun Ultra 24 Model B21 and Ultra 27 Model B27 workstations, you know, the ones where when you swivel the side of the case down, you are surprised with the clearest, most compact and succinct, most thoughtfully illustrated diagrams on user-serviceable part upgrade/replacement procedures ever drawn on the inside of a computer case or rack, the kind of thoughtful design so characteristically in line with Sun Microsystems’ legendary commitment to quality.  Those diagrams are just works of art, and it always struck me that Sun cared so much about details like that that exceedingly few people would ever see.

I always loved how Sun’s boxes looked like any other computer manufacturer’s off-white boxes on the outside, but were always so clean and thoughtfully designed on the inside.  It reminds me of Steve Jobs and how he would tell the story of his dad emphatically imparting to his teenage son how utterly important it was to make sure that you always did your best work, never took shortcuts, and paid excruciating attention to detail when rebuilding and/or overhauling an engine and made sure your work was not only perfect and professional, but _looked_ clean and beautiful, even though no one else would ever, ever see any of the work you did under the hood of your car.  That dedication to engineering excellence was just so deeply embedded in Sun Microsystems’ DNA
