Yes, I had done that before posting thinking that should get any
naming used.

But that is not the problem:

root at h0:~# pkg list |grep emacs
root at h0:~#

I seem to recall that `pkg list' lists out all pkgs for my particular
image is that correct?  So apparently emacs is not amongst them.

Not sure if I mentioned that I'm on a console install ... no X but
that should not matter far as emacs is concerned its at home either way.
