I dont't see this problem here:

$ netstat -afinet | grep \.ipp | wc -l
        2

$ svcs -a|grep cup
legacy_run      9:40:33 lrc:/etc/rc3_d/S99cups-browsed
online          9:40:19 svc:/application/cups/scheduler:default
online          9:51:42 svc:/application/cups/in-lpd:default


$ pkg list|grep cups
