[OpenIndiana-discuss] geforce 6600 troubles

after trying lots of xorg.conf settings i gave up and bought a geforce 210 which is supposed to work 
according to the hcl. however, it does only work properly under specific circumstances. the key is the 
monitor. if that doesn't supply edid data it's not much better than what i got from the 6600. the latter 
though apparently wasn't able to receive edid data at all and hence it never worked right. but as 
mentioned before, the solaris 10 nvidia drivers didn't have a problem with that.

might be a good idea to add a hint to the docs that to get properly working nvidia drivers, some sort of 
edid is necessary.
