Hello All
This is a known issue since the last Mesa update and seems to come from
the changes Solaris did to it's platform Support by disabling Intel
completely Upstream for Solaris and hardlinking the driver to Swrast. So
yes We have effectively disabled intel acceleration due to the Mesa
build system. It seems swrast is not up to the task though to handle
modern GUI applications so I will have to bite the bullet and actually
port that part of mesa back. This will take some time as the intel
driver userland parts currently can't compile due to some C functions I
will need to port. For some reason It did not install properly on my
machine and I got a working OpenGL setup when I tested. I'll look into
this in detail once I am back from Holidays. I think we will need to do
the same thing we did with golang and split the OS detection so we can
provide different configurations on illumos than Solaris.
