[OpenIndiana-discuss] pulseaudio issue

since one month or so I see the problem that the volume control applet is not working any more for me and on logout I get the notice
that mate-settings-daemon is still running
The reason behind is that there some pulsaudio processes hang:

Some strange is the first pulseaudio process has a zombie in his stomach

I see this on my laptop. Has this anyone seen too? And an idea how to get rid of it?
