As posted, I no longer have the problem of this thread, however your
answer caused to have a look at the current /etc/ssh/sshd_config
I find:

 ListenAddress  ::

And according to the www message you posted above that should be
desireable at the message thread says the setting I show should cause
both ipv4 and ipv6 to be listened for.
