Hi Carsten

The error generated by VirtualBox when attempting to start a VBox called 
"No Disk" (it boots from iso image each time).

Checked dbus and it is running.

$ svcs -a | grep dbus
online          6:05:01 svc:/system/dbus:default

In respect of the GIMP jpeg issue opening a file, a similar problem 
exists with screensavers that open jpeg files like "Flip Screen 3D" can 
not display an image.


$ QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS=1 /opt/VirtualBox/amd64/VBoxSVC
